This is a pilot program for residents located in the District of Sechelt.

We are unable to deliver bear-resistant bins to households. Residents who would like a bin will need to bring their rinsed organics bin to us to swap for a bear-resistant bin. Please wait for a confirmation email and swap date before bringing in your bin.

Bear-resistant green organics bins are $100 tax included. This is a one-time fee and the cost difference between your current organics bin and the bear-resistant one.

Drop off cheque to our secure mail slot outside the entrance to Municipal Hall. Please include name, what the cheque is for and your address.
